Why are we discussing plugging a center mid in unnaturally at left when Steve Zakuani is ripping it up from the left flank in Seattle?
Let's start talking about Zakuani. He's our best option as a natural LM. He dangerous every time he's on the ball and his speed is lethal. Premier League clubs were scouting him out of college at Akron two years ago and he's proving very dangerous every chance he's given. I think he's the next great American star and can see him shining as soon as this June. He just needs the chance; as soon as he gets it, he'll be proving he has World Class raw talent.
I'll be disappointed if this kid doesn't get a call up.
